Ballard Boys vs. Wild

The Ballard Boys had their First Camping Trip this weekend! They drove out to Sherando Lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains! They had a Fabulous time and can't Wait to camp more! The Campground was Fabulous... Bathrooms, Showers, Hot Water, and Super Clean! Could Not have asked for more!

William had his Belt Testing and Did Awesome!!! He was tested on his Form, Stranger Danger, 911 Safety, and had to Break a Board! Now he is a Yellow with a White Stripe Belt Level!

Ballard Boy Sports Update...

The Ballard Boys are having a Fabulous Spring! Soccer is in full swing, Golf is going Wonderfully, and William tested for his new Belt in Tae Kwon Do (stay tuned for that post!) So I thought I would post a few (I mean a Lot) of Pictures of the Boys from Practice throughout the week! The Boys are also gearing up for the Big Camping Trip this weekend! They are So Excited and there is only a 40% chance of rain on Saturday! HeeHee!!!!

Spring Portraits 2013

Ballard Boys Are Golfing!!!

The Ballard Boys started their Golf Lessons on Sunday! They are taking them at Old Trail in Crozet.  They Love the Pros there and had a Blast!!! They started off working on their Chip Shot and Putting! Hope they Love taking the Lessons as much as their Daddy Loved Watching them take Lessons!!!

The Ballard Boys took their Sydney and Crew hiking this weekend to Humpback Rock! Everyone made it up...all at their own pace! William was the Master hiker!!! He hiked the Entire Mountain!!!!

The Ballard Boys + Flat Stanley

William received Flat Stanley from a military friend and he decided to take him to Monticello for the day! It was a Very Busy day at Monticello because everyone was on Spring Break!  So up the Hill we hiked to show Flat Stanley around Monticello and teach him all William's favorite Thomas Jefferson Facts!

 All three were interested in the Spinach that was already growing in Thomas Jefferson's garden!!

All in All, I think Flat Stanley learned a lot about Thomas Jefferson and what a Busy Man he was! William marched him all over the mountain explaining things and showing Flat Stanley his favorite spots, like the fish pond and ice pit!  As a side note, I pray no one sends Flat Stanley to James unless he wants to learn how to play video games!
