The Ballard Boys carved their Pumpkins yesterday in preparation for their first Halloween in Charlottesville!

Don't let this picture fool you... this is as close as any of the Ballard Boys came to digging out the goop! That was Mommy's job AGAIN this year!

Jebby a little interested in what was going on...

A Monstrous Idea!!!

William, Jebby, and Mommy decided to get into the Halloween Spirit this weekend! William chose a Monster Cupcake out of a Halloween Magazine. So off to Kroger for our supplies...

William adding the spikes to his cupcakes...

William and his partner in crime, I mean Jeb, adding the eyes to the Monster! And when I say adding the eyes, I mean eating the ingredients for the eyes...

Jeb taking credit for the Final MONSTER presentation...

William so Proud of his MONSTERS!!

Soccer is Over!!

Well William's first Soccer Season came to an end this weekend! He wasn't sad to see it go, he actually decided he was finished right after these two photos were taken! He threw a fit and we left! So I'd have to say that soccer didn't end with a Bang but with a Time-Out!

But he was able to get it together long enough to attend the Pizza Party with the League and his Teammates! Also to William's surprise, EVERYONE received Trophies!

Here is the Official Team Photo of the Misfits, I mean Penguins! HeeHee!!! This was the only picture of the entire team looking at the camera! Too Bad the Coach wasn't...

The Circus is in Town!

Zing, Zang, ZOOM the Circus is in TOWN! The Ballard Boys were in attendance when Ringling Bros. rolled into Charlottesville this week! It was only one ring but they didn't disappoint and the Boys LOVED every minute! Clowns, Dogs, Horses Camels, Acrobats, and of course MAGIC!!

William and Daddy love the Pre-Show Clowns! But William was Amazed with the magic part of the show! Continuously yelling "Where'd she come from!!!" and "How'd they Do THAT!!!!"

Jeb actually was laughing and screaming the whole time!

We made it through the whole show without any circus gear and Daddy caved on the way out of the Arena! But William was very excited about his glow wand... he kept saying, "It's MAGIC!!"

Aside form a few minor injuries (Daddy's bruised rib from falling in the seats and My fat lip from the Magic Wand) an Awesome time was had by all!! The Circus was a surprising Success!!

DC and the Army 10 miler

The Ballard Boys took over DC this past weekend to cheer on their Daddy in the Army 10 miler! We were lucky enough to stay with our dear friends the Cox family! Mr. Chris and Miss Alison, Anna Grace and Chandler were the best hosts! We even had enough time for a little Mountaineer Football and Sightseeing!

The kids anxiously waiting on their Daddies to come around the corner in the Army 10 Miler!

Happy Runners on Mile 6.
