Santa, Choo Choo, Please!

Santa came through for William, the Choo Choo was there Christmas morning!

Grumpy and William enjoy playing with the train Christmas morning...

Kaleb and Brenna got in on the train action when they arrived!

William showing off his Conductor skills after Daddy, the engineer set up the track last night for him! The first thing out of William's mouth when I went in to get him this morning was, "track set up?"

William's new and improved play corner with his and Mommy's gifts from Christmas! Still needs a little organization before Baby James gets here in March but it's a very good start!

Mommy's Little Baker!

William helped me bake cookies! He was the biggest helper,  unwrapping the candies and rolling the dough! I never dreamed he would be so helpful already...that is after he had his sword fight with the spoon with Daddy!

(Please excuse Boss Hogg in the background...she asked not to be in the picture!)

First Annual Gingerbread House!

Daddy and William constructed their first annual Gingerbread House last evening and as you will see, it was a Great Success!  It started off slow, with Daddy reading the directions and manning the mixer, but once they got their icing consistency correct they were off...

William was a little unsure about the whole process until he got some on his finger and his Daddy told him to lick it!  Once he realized it was icing, Daddy could barely keep the house together because of William taking some licks...

As you can see, they were extremely proud of their work!

The Beautiful Final Gingerbread House or as William  says....Santee's House!

Baby Jesus and Miss Sally????

William was so proud of his morning project of building his manger scene.  However, I  do not think I told the story correctly when he added Miss Sally next to Baby Jesus! We might need some help with the real story of Christmas, Nonna!!

William and Poor Santa

Well William and Santa are not big fans of each other this year.  We stood in line for over an hour to see "Santee" and ask him for a "ChooChoo Peez".  When we got up to Santa, William did not want to sit on his lap nor tell him anything!  What made it even worse was when I sat him down on Santa's lap and the screaming started the woman informed me that the camera wasn't working!!! So I picked William up...and thought I had no photo of William with Santa this year.  But to my surprise when we got home, Jason had taken an unauthorized photo with his phone! Yeah Camera phones, even if they are blurry!!!

I plan on trying Santa again later this week even though William still says No!

Big Boy Bed!

Afraid of jinxing ourselves, Jason and I have waited a few days to post William in his Big Boy Bed.  Well here is the little prince in his throne! He is doing really well sleeping there, probably only because he still doesn't think he can get out! That will not last much longer...

This is an action shot of William pretending to be sleeping in his Big Boy Bed, I wouldn't dare flash a camera for fear of waking him, heehee!

Christmas in Kentucky...

Finally got the house back together from being gone for Thanksgiving and began the decorating...
William was a huge help for daddy in fluffing the tree as he put it together...

Veteran's Day Visitors!

William had quite an eventful weekend with many guests! William's Grand Dad Jeff and Sandra came for a visit for the first time.  They brought Lincoln Logs, which are fabulous! William loves them and insists that you follow the directions to build the cabin, no imagination allowed!

William took them to his favorite Patton Museum to show them the tanks! William showed Sandra how to drive the tank simulator.

A group shot with the tank!

Grand Dad  gets in on the simulator action!

Grand Dad also bought William the Disney movie, Up! Super Cute!  As you can see, everyone enjoyed the movie!

Thank you, Lisa, Jon, Buddy, Megan, Sydney, Jeff, and Sandra for visiting us this past weekend! We had a blast!

Trick-Or-Treat

Finally after all the talk and preparations, William went Trick-Or-Treating.  Well only one house, but it did take him 30 minutes to do that one house...

Off he goes...

Is this the house???

Nope keep going...

William patiently waited for the Trick-Or-Treaters that never showed up until after he was asleep!! And teenagers don't really count anyway...

Daddy and William enjoying the fruits of his labor on the porch with their Jack-O-Lantern.

Shhhhh! Pumpkin is sleeping.....

Sugar still going strong even after 9 o'clock AND a bath!

As you will notice there are no pictures of him actually getting the candy at the house... that is because our neighbor thought it would be cute to dress up like a witch to give out candy, well it wasn't to William.  Daddy had to carry him up to the house and William didn't even want any candy after that... But he was easily convinced later to eat it!

First Pumpkin Carving!!

William carved his first pumpkin friday night... well Daddy did most of the carving.  William did not enjoy getting his hands dirty and preferred to play on the deck and watch Daddy carve the pumpkin...

We did convince him to stick his hand in once but that was it.  It was too sticky for him!

He did enjoy the tools!

William preferred to just give Daddy instructions on how to carve and clean the pumpkin!

Proud Daddy, showing off his first pumpkin too!

William with his pumpkin!
