Today William taught Baby James how to finger paint! William had fun, not sure if Baby James really enjoyed it yet...

Golfing and Playing

This beautiful fall weather continued today so we couldn't help but be outside! Daddy and Willie went golfing for a while. Jeb and I went for a walk until the boys got home. Daddy said Willie's golf swing is coming along, we might have a pro in our future...

Pumpkin Patch fun!

We made a trip to the pumpkin patch today to enjoy the cool weather! We had a blast! William remembered it and enjoyed all the activities more than last year. He helped us pick out our pumpkins! James also enjoyed his first trip to the pumpkin patch! Loved playing in the grass and in the hay...

Daddy even enjoyed himself even though we drug him away from his football...

The Secret...

I found out the secret to getting James to eat baby food... hold the camera in his face and keep saying Cheese!! Hee Hee! That seems to be the only thing that distracts him enough to actual eat! If I put the camera down he starts screaming and refusing to open his mouth! Maybe he is going to be famous some day or just really conceded...

And of course, what is William doing while I spend an hour trying to feed James baby food...

Weekend Festivities...

These are a few of the Highlights from the weekend. Aunt Bec and Uncle Dew came in for the Bourbon Festival... There was a little fun and football and a lot of Bourbon!

A Little Dance Party...

A Little Dancing to get your weekend started!

Prunes and Shoes...

Poor Sweet Baby James isn't taking to Cereal too well... Or I should say his belly is not taking to cereal too well. After three days of issues, I had to go and buy the poor fella some prunes to help him out... I felt so guilty having to feed them to him. . .

That is until I found out he LOVES them! HeeHee! My little crazy prune eater!!!!!

Also William took advantage of a screaming Baby James, while we were out tennis shoe shopping to conn me into buy those stupid light up shoes! Look how proud he is of himself and his new shoes!

He is dancing to the Hot Dog Song and showing me how they light up! And they make "Vrooom" noises too, Yeah Me!!!

Lesson learned... When at a store with a crying infant, Just leave the store, don't insist on finishing your shopping... You will end up buying something stupid! ( I also told him he could only wear them around the house...so he insisted on wearing them ALL day around the house!)

Finally with the cool off the boys and I went to the park. Still could not get William back on the swings but he thought it was a good idea to put James on one! As you can see, William watched and laughed from a safe distance...

James LOVED the swings! He just laughed and screamed the whole time!! William can't wait to take him back!

Lastly some videos of James... He is quite the motor mouth for anyone who has spent any time with him. Forget watching TV, talking, or reading once he gets started. It gets SO Loud it wakes William up if he is sleeping up stairs!! If you ask William what James is doing he says "Baby James is just runnin hims mouth!"

Yipee! CEREAL!

James started eating Cereal this morning! As you can see he was super excited at the thought of it but actually eating it was more difficult than he thought! Thanks to big brother we had an enjoyable first meal! I can't believe he is almost 6 months already!! It seems to be going so fast! James already rolls over, says MaMaMa, DaDaDa, and waves Hi! He can also already sit up!! He loves his blocks and of course Anything his big brother is doing!

As you can see he enjoyed his cereal but got bored and hungry with it after awhile and just wanted to nurse... we will have to work on our speed! HeeHee!
