The Smokey Mountains!

"Durls" Week in the Smokey Mountains was a blast! We went to the Dixie Stampede, Dollywood, and the Aquarium. The first pictures show how the Smokey Mountains got their name...

William LOVED the Dixie Stampede! Nonna bought him a flag which he waved frantically every time the Ring Master would say or mention the South! Once the show was over, he and Aunt Bec went down and got the trick riders to sign his flag and get his picture taken with them!

The next day we took the boys to Dollywood to ride the Dollywood Expresss! And it didn't disappoint! The old fashion steam coal engine ride came complete with coal soot on our clothes!

And of course William did!

William also enjoyed his first amusement park ride... the Carousal! He and Aunt Bec actually rode it twice! (Yes, that's Nonna behind them riding the pig!)

To further exhaust ourselves we went to the Aquarium the last full day in the Smokeys. It was the best one we have been to yet! Complete with sharks, turtles, Saw Tooth sharks, Nemo and Dory fish!!!

Thanks to Nonna and Aunt Becca for the "durls" Week! We had a blast!

Fun with James...

William thought James needed some sunglasses this morning since it was so HOT and Sunny outside! He was unsure about them at first, probably afraid William was going to poke him in the eye... but once we started giggling at him he laughed so hard he fell over!!!
